Changing TCP/IP port number

By default, the TCP/IP port that GreedyTorrent operates on is 3456. However, if the port is already in use by another program, you can change it to a new value between 1024 and 65535. Make sure the new port value you choose is unused in your system.

You can change the port that GreedyTorrent uses to listen for incoming connections in the preferences dialog box, on the basic tab. Look for the 'Port for client connection' text box and enter the new value. Click OK to save the settings. You need to restart GreedyTorrent for the port change to take effect. Terminate GreedyTorrent by right clicking the tray icon and choosing Exit, then start it again.
